I put my application in for the nursing program at USF and I thought they said two to three weeks from time of application but as it turns out its two to three weeks from the deadline. So I have a long wait. I’m all nerves just waiting to find out of I will get in. Not getting in is NOT the ideal outcome but I do have, my alma mata UCF, to fall back on and I have my plan of study already and will enroll If necessary.

I loved UCF and had a great time when I was there for my BS degree (in cardiopulmonary sciences)) but I’m kind of excited for a educational opportunity at another educational institution. USF is a leader in research. And the USF program has three tracks for for the BS whereas UCF has one focus- community health. Not that community health is a bad thing because we need more of it but I like choices and USF offers that.

So we shall see what happens.

For now I’m just looking forward to a vacation I hope to take in July.
