I had a very productive day today. I had a pedicure at 9am this morning. (and a brow wax) I followed my nail girl, Sophia to her new workplace.
After the pedicure I went to the grocery store to pick up some bread. Then I headed to CVS to pick up my Rx. I Cleaned out my car, took it to the car wash and vacuumed it out and then had it washed. The guy even cleaned my floor mats beautifully. They look almost new.
Then I weed whacked the weeds in the front garden bed and the grass that is creeping up on the pool deck with my new weed wacker I put together myself. I cut down the weeds that have grown where my container garden used to be. When my husband passed, I let my garden die. I now have new Herb plants which I will plant this weekend where my old plants were, in the little cart thing on the pool deck.
I had a lovely lunch of Naturally rare roast beef with provolone cheese on a onion poppy seed bun. Delicious. It is my favorite cold cut.
Why girl friend Deb got admitted to the hospital for chest pain but her troponins were negative and her EKG only showed normal sinus rhythm with 1 degree heart block which is no big deal. They kept her overnight and shes home now. My friend Kath , Deb and I finally made a date to get together. Everyone is available finally on September 30. We are getting together at 12:30 for lunch. Can’t wait to get with them. It will be lovely
My friend Carole is coming to visit me for a couple of days Sept 15-17. She’s been wanting to come down since my husband died But we weren’t able to coordinate schedules until now. We haven’t seen each other since 2019 when we went up for a friends wedding on long island. So It will be very nice to see her.
I have very tentative plans for my best friend, J to visit at the end of October. My time off has been approved but he doesn’t know yet. Hes in the restaurant biz.
On the day of my husbands memorial at the church I wore low heels but I have a slight bunion on my left foot which never bothered me before I ended up with a blister on it. That bunion hurt for about 3 weeks after that even when the blister resolved itself. I was putting voltaren gel on it. Deep Blue by DoTerra and I took ibuprofen. None of that helped. So I started to ice it and I took a Meloxicam (MOBIC) for two days and now it feels better. I almost went to urgent care so I’m glad it feels better.
