We last saw our heroine fretting over the lack of nursing jobs for those with little to no experience…..

I hadn’t been in my “professional” email box for days because I generally do not “log on” while in a string of shifts just because I am generally tired and don’t want to look at yet another computer. Anyway, I logged onto the job board to see what the status of my applications and they said “not under consideration.” To me, that sounds like “thanks but no thanks.” you know?

I find out that all I need to do is fill out a job transfer request and they will set up an interview. I had no idea. I have to have my boss fill it out to verify that no disciplinary action was taken against me in the last six months.

Alas, my boss was on vacation last week and now I job I wanted to interview for is gone. 🙁 I know, I should take any job to start with. But I am trying to avoid nights because I left nights for a reason because I had GI problems and it wasn’t good for my young marriage. So I will continue looking for a short period. I am still hoping that the grad nurse program will still come thought. Sigh….
