Today I officially declined my place in the UCF nursing RN to BSN program via email.

My reasons are two fold. My priorities do not lie with school right now. My priority is my family and enjoying life right now. My heart just wouldn’t be in it at this time and I would end up resenting it in the long run. I will revisit in the future.

In addition, I have had the hardest time with my re- Readmission to UCF. They tell me they haven’t gotten all my documents when I sent all the ones I believe to be necessary. It’s difficult to get in touch with anyone so it’s been very frustrating. Plus it’s about $10,000 more dollars.

This does leave however, USF’s program. I haven’t heard anything about this yet and won’t until mid July. I want to see if I even get in and then I Will inquire about their policies regarding declining and moving my enrollment to a later date. I am actually more excited about USF’s program than UCF. USF Is just more convenient than UCF’s anyway.

I feel a great pressure has been lifted from my shoulders.
