Crockpot Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • Beef strips (I used flank steak sliced)
  • Green bell pepper, sliced thick
  • Red bell pepper, sliced thick
  • Onion sliced thick
  • Beef Broth
  • Soy sauce
  • Ground ginger
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Brown sugar
  • Cold Water

Directions

  • Add beef, peppers and onions in crock pot – Place the beef, bell peppers and onions in a  Slow cooker
  • Season – Add the seasonings, brown sugar, and soy sauce over the beef and peppers.
  • Add Broth – Pour the beef broth in the crock pot. Stir to combine.
  • Slow Cook –  Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or until the steak is cooked through.
  • I do not use a cornstarch slurry as the recipe calls for
  • Serve and enjoy – Serve over a bed of white rice. (Or brown or basmati or texmati!)
  • Garnish with Sesame Seeds
