I got up this morning at 0430 and got ready for practicum and I leave at 0530 to drive up there.  I arrive on unit 0630, and find out my preceptor had called in sick at 0405.   There were no available preceptors so they sent me home.  Now I will have to make up at practicum day in my last week.  That kind of sucks because I was planning on a conference on April 19th. (the last day to get in my 10 shifts)  So I REALLY REALLY hope that I can get a makeup day on the 16th, 17th or 18th..  If worse comes to worst I will cancel my registration at the conference and loose $25 of my registration fee.(and the 6 continuing education credits) School has to come first.

I applied for a second job yesterday or the day before.  I have not heard anything except that my applications have been submitted and they will hold my resume and application and let me know if there are any positions available that fit my qualifications.  Well, I certainly hope my qualifications fit, I applied for Graduate Nurse positions.

So I will use this unplanned time off to work on some school stuff that needs to be done.
