My clinical on Tuesday was good. I had a pretty simple patient who was there for vomiting and diarrhea. A baby. All I pretty much did all day was do vitals, weigh diapers, change a bed sheet, pain checks, did q2 IV site checks and hung some Rocephin (200mg delivered over 30 minutes) Cute kid too and super well behaved. I will have a different patient next Tuesday.
I could not speak on asthma in post conference because of my voice. I had problems with my voice (next to no voice) and with wheezing. I didn’t have a good inhaler either but I persevered with some caffeine and my hubby brought my good inhaler to the restaurant we went to after clinical.
